I love the addition of “Honey for the Soul!” I just finished The Crown over the summer. I agree it was a great show. Right now, I’m watching the newest season of Only Murders in the Building (love this cast?). Steve and I have started watching Abbott Elementary together. I love it as it reminds me of a teacher version of The Office.
We love Only Murders in the Building, too! We haven't started the most recent season yet because we watch it with my mom and sister so we wait until we've all have time to curl up and enjoy. It's such a fun show. And I haven't watched Abbott Elementary, but I imagine it is very cathartic for teachers. :)
I love this, especially: "‘I’m swimming in time. And one day, time will be swimming in me.’"
My "On Repeat" songs (thank you, Spotify, for documenting my hyper focus music) right now include "Is There Something in the Movies?" by Samia, "Close to You" by Gracie Abrams, and "Stick Season" by Noah Kahan.
My husband (Dan) and I are totally late to the party with most movies and shows these days, but we've been watching "Girls5eva" and laughing a ton, which always feels good.
Hyper focus music for the win! 🎶 Hooray for Noah Kahan.
I almost always end up singing and harmonizing along with songs that have lyrics and Stick Season is so fun to sing along with. And I'll have to give the other two a listen.
Adam and I are late to the party as well. It's been a full summer/year. 😂
Hooray! Fun to know someone else who loves this stuff, too. :) And I agree. Autumn is the perfect time to curl up with British programs and a cup of tea. :)☕️🫖🍁
Love this. I've had similar moments lately here in Maine: snowy egrets congregating in the cove ahead of their migration; fall leaves so bright they look electrified; crazy, swirly, amethyst October skies, full of squinty sunlight one minute, and broody dark light the next. Fall is the queen of the seasons. I always feel lucky to live here, but never more so than in the fall. Listening to Kaiti Jones' album Tossed. She's from Portland, ME so her songs feel like home. Also going back to older Counting Crows albums after seeing them live over the summer with the family. Those lyrics! Watching Only Murders in the Building, season 4 which just makes me happy. And waiting not very patiently for the second season of Shrinking to start. Enjoy the season!
Sounds lovely, Tara! 😍 I haven't listened to Kaiti Jones, I'll check out her album. :) And we're an Only Murders in the Building family, too! 😀 Adam and I get together with my mom and sister and watch them on the weekends. Although we haven't yet had time to start season 4. But we've all been looking forward to it. :)

I’m a total royal-phile too! Really anything British—the Crown, Masterpiece Mystery—and fall is the perfect season for curling up with a British show.
